Permanent residency socks
This pattern was designed while I was studying for (and taking) an exam in the UK to obtain my permanent residency hence the silly name.
The pattern combines creation of elongated stitches and a mock cable and works equally well with handdyed, self-striping, or semi-solid yarns.
It is worked toe up and written to allow the knitter to choose what type of needles/method they want to use. The heel is a heel flap similar to one in a top-down sock, but requires no picking up of stitches!
You should be familiar with sock construction or be adventurous to use this pattern. Pattern in 8-pages and includes a chart, links to tutorials, and a pictorial on creating the stitch pattern.
Cost of the pattern is US$3.50. For the month of August I will donate $3 to Pakistan relief efforts.
