The Sage looks like it’s quite a neat building. One of the UK photography magazines I read has a recurring feature where a reader is given one hour to fulfill three or four photo assignments. A recent version of this feature saw a Newcastle native’s successful attempt at shooting the city’s architecture at dusk and at night. The Sage and both major bridges over the Tyne figure prominently in the photos, as they look quite spectacular at night. There’s also a restaurant that’s along a walkway alongside the Tyne that has glow-in-the-dark plant pots, which the photographer incorporated with his photos of the Sage.
